I assume that most of us are adults around here, I am able to put on my big boy pants and take some bad news. Today was rough, but by no means was it enough to turn me sour with my beloved Rams. I am near the point where Jeff Fisher needs to answer some questions, I am not asking for his head, I just want the record set straight, because the anger and vitriol being spewed all over TST lately cannot come just from losing. I think that we as a general public feel betrayed, let down, misled and we deserve better as fans. Today the Rams played a horrible game, there is no way to candy coat it, we stunk. I am a positive person, no need to get upset about things I have no control over.
First thing I demand from Coach Fisher is accountability,
Second thing I demand is for Coach Fisher to address the public honestly, no more CoachSpeak. Come clean and tell us it is what we all fear it will be.
Third issue we need to clarify. I want to know if Sam is afraid to throw the ball more then 5 yards or is he being instructed to do so.
Fourth issue, We as fans are allowed to be disappointed, angry, but what we need to be is supportive, supportive to each other, supportive of our beloved team, and the players.
Fifth issue, if we are only as good as we played today, hey coach, what is the harm in playing at the pace and personal we seem to be built for. Why do we have explosive players if they only get targets in the flats? why...why...oh god why
I am gonna leave the defense alone right now, I do not feel Walton is anymore to blame as Coach McInnis, CLong, JL55, or Finn. I think the youngsters are the story of our defense so far this year, we cannot fault how 52, 25, or 23 are playing, their play jumps out of the screen.
Our biggest issue on both sides of the ball is we are devoid of natural and true leaders. Sam has shown growth as a leader, but at some point he must step further forward then he has, I fear he is not the type of leader that the team needs. I think Sam is our Future, I believe he is the real deal, I believe he is our answer, he just may not be ready to wear that leadership hat just yet.
