What if T-rich came to Rams instead?

When I heard the news I couldn't help but wonder what may have gone on behind the scenes. Did they shop him for best offer? We have two picks, did we consider trading one for him? Did we even know he was available? He has similar playing characteristics of Steven Jackson. A big bruising back who can also catch the football. He certainly doesnt come without risks considering his nagging injuries and low ypc. How much of that is from most defenses scheming to stop him. He has had to do more for his yards arguably more than any other back.

Seems like you can build a case for him helping our balance on offense, but perhaps in todays past crazed NFL a #1 for a RB is too much. If you were Fish and Les would you have traded the lower of the two picks for him? Do you think our answer is on the current roster? Better choices in the draft in round 1 or maybe even later rounds?
