Voodoo Stats?

Okay TST, I kept having this nagging feeling lately that when we score first we lose the game. And of course that means if we don’t we win. This kept bugging me so I took way too much time checking this out from 2010 to now.

Here are the results in reverse order:

What I gleaned from this is that my hunch was right. Don’t ask me why but you’ve seen the evidence that as of right now we are trending very high odds that if we score first we are going to lose the game, and if not we have a 75% chance of winning it.

It’s easy to throw out 2010 because it was a different coaching class and Bradford was a rookie. 2011 was bad data because Bradford missed 6 games and was hurt in several others.

Now we have a healthy team and the same coaches….I know it’s got to be VOODOO!

Do I want you to go bet your house on it? No, I wouldn’t but it makes me think I should turn the T.V. off if we score first from now on.

So yes this was probably a waste of time, but what the heck else are you going to do at work but think of strange data and how it so greatly affects our everyday lives!

Thanks for reading, and If we score first in Dallas throw a beer at you television set!
