perspective on the 49ers

I think it's time to put a little perspective on the 49ers so with that in mind here is a little bit of back ground. The 49ers decide to hire a new Head Coach once again and the new Head Coach kept Smith, Smith then learned the new playbook something of which I'm sure became a habit and took the team to the playoff's then in 2012 he was well on his way to doing it again and injury sidelined him enter Kaepernick. The defenses were prepared to go against Smith not Kaepernick the back up QB and as a result he took them by surprise and 10 games later they went to the SB and Kaepernick was treated like a golden boy and was showered with all kinds of praise and given credit for something which he did not do and that was to take them to the championship.

I suspect that this year will tell us a lot about how good or bad Kaepernick really is because defenses will have plays designed to stop Kaepernick's running ability and I suspect that if you force him to stay in the pocket he won't be as good as people think because I believe if he see's that his receivers are covered or that he has a chance he will run the ball read option or not and it won't be to the sideline. I also believe he is arrogant enough to think that he can out run defenders and that will be a problem for the 49ers. I also don't think the defense is as stout as they used to be but I base that on the age factor more then anything and age does make a difference so in conclusion I don't think the 49ers will make it to the playoffs and they will fall short of it but it does depend on whether or not Kaepernick can be a good QB with defenses keyed in on him. I also believe that we will beat them both at home and in the dome.
