Fantasy Football 2013: Risers and fallers after preseason Week 2

Here we will list who has risen and who has fallen since our last rankings came out a week ago

Week 2 of preseason is now in the books and I will cover who has risen and fallen in my mind in the fantasy football world as well as updated rankings at the bottom of the article.  The rankings are also available via email, just contact me on twitter @dvond.  I will be on vacation next week but will have 1 more rankings update on labor day weekend.

Eddie Lacy-I have moved him into the end of the 3rd round since Franklin has done little and he is only competing with Harris, he is a very solid RB2/Flex with upside.

Tom Brady-I have moved him back into the 4th round, he looks as comfortable as ever and now with the possibility of Gronk being back after 3-4 games, it will only give him more weapons.  His demise was greatly exaggerated.

Danny Amendola- He has great chemistry already but the injury concerns will keep him as a 4th or 5th rounder and a perfect WR2.

Ryan Mathews-He has zero competition for carries and with all the receivers falling like flies, I would give him a chance in the 5th round as a possible flex.

Reggie Wayne- His downturn at the end of last year seems long ago as he looks just like he did in the 1st half last year of what looks to be a wide open Colts offense.

Torrey Smith-  He is now Flacco's favorite target and they are connecting in preseason, he is a nice Wr2 with a chance to possibly break into a WR1.

Desean Jackson- Vick is now the starter and count me as a Kelly supporter and think he gets back to where he was a few years ago.

DeAngelo Williams- Stewart has not done one thing in camp and visions of his 200 yard game to end last year makes him a bargain in the 5th-7th round.

Daryl Richardson- He has been named the Rams starter, and with his pass catching ability, I expect him to keep the job and get over 1200 total yards especially with his competition not performing this preseason.  He is now a 5th-6th rounder.

T.Y. Hilton - Even if he is starting as their Wr3, there are plenty of targets to go around and he was a top 15 WR the last half of last year.

Jermichael Finley- He looks to be a different and motivated player so far, one of my targets in later rounds for tight end.

Michael Vick -In a deep league, this should be your late round target if going with QB by committee, he will have a great 8 games at least.

Vincent Brown- He is looking like the WR1 and is a nice guy t take a chance in 10th round rather than some other teams WR3.

Jordan Cameron- He is flourishing in the Norv Turner offense as most tight ends have in the past, another guy to target if you wait until late for your Tight End.

Julius Thomas- He is Manning preferred TE target in Denver, if you are not going early, so many guys to target late in drafts and you could do worse than this upside.

Zach Sudfeld- Gronk-lite, has major injury concerns which caused him to do undrafted but if you draft Gronk, make sure to cover your September with this talent

Arian Foster- He cannot practice, getting shot for back pain, there is just no way at this point you can roll the dice in the 1st or 2nd round.

Dwayne Bowe-  He has only been targeted once in 2 games and this looks to be a Alex Smith dink and dunk offense.

Lamar Miller- The Dolphins seem intent on a job share with Thomas, now drafting him as a flex at most.

Victor Cruz- He is in a walking boot and much is unknown for his early season status, many similar receivers are safer to take.

Colin Kaepernick- With his lack of weapons and the deep QB position, I would not look at him before round 6 and filling other spots.

Darren McFadden-Last year he had barely 3 YPC in over 200 carries, and this Raiders OL may look worse.

Le'Veon Bell- He looked to have no running lanes and then came up late with a bad foot which could turn into many things.  Until you know more of the severity of this injury, I would not pull the trigger until the 6th or 7th round.

Robert Griffin- Color me skeptical that he is not taking any contact, not playing in any preseason games, I have him now at the bottom of the Qb1 rankings, would rather go with Luck or Romo.

Kenny Britt- I am hearing he continues to have knee soreness from his off season surgery, another stay away for me especially with his inaccurate QB.

Jonathon Stewart-Still no practice for him, possible PUP candidate.
