SiriusXM made their annual stop in St. Louis on Saturday to take in a day of training camp at Rams Park. Alex Marvez and legendary NFL talent guru Gil Brandt had lots to say about the state of the Rams and the players on the roster.
Brandt talked up the rookie safety during the segment embedded below. Most notably, he praised his work in coverage, noting that's become a more important part of the game for safeties in the modern NFL than being a hitter. He also noted that McDonald stood out in 2011 with USC, and he added that nobody had a good year for USC in 2012.
Brandt was high on Cunningham, predicting that he would end up on the final roster.
Brandt was in Oklahoma on that spring day in 2010, for his pro day. And he mentioned that in this interview, talking specifically about how much better Bradford looked this year than last, recalling that kid who threw for scouts more than three years ago.
There's lots more here, so give it a listen.
