There are so many different ways our 2 starting safety jobs could go this year, and now I will give a hybrid option, most likely risk option, then my option. Lets kick it off.
The two starting safeties could end up being T.J. McDonald and Ray Ray Armstrong. Even though the team said Ray Ray will be a linebacker. Let me explain before you go off on me haha. Just think this would be a new situation that no offensive coordinators have dealt with. Every other play they could switch 1 in the box the other on the TE or in center field. Neither have horrible cover skills, they are both incredibly physical, and really athletic. Just ponder with the thought.
Most Likely Option:
Darian Stewart and TJ McDonald, the coaches really like Stewart. He has shown the ability to start, but has some injury issues recently.
TJ McDonald and Trumaine Johnson. That would in my opinion give us an elite secondary, Johnson has length and has strength that goes unnoticed. If he could make the move to safety ,which I think wouldn't be to hard for him, he would be our center fielder. Then that leaves TJ for our in the box safety.
What do you think? Any way it's gonna be better than last years safeties!!!!
