Random Ramsdom: May 31, 2013: Blast From the Past, Reprise Fumble, and Shirtless Running

David Welker

Kicking off your Friday right with refreshing insight and total randomness.

This blast from the past is brought to you by the letter S.

Who knew way back when that Sam Bradford was destined for such great heights? What's that you say? Pretty much everyone? Gotcha. But you know the haters are going to hate, and that's fine. In what some are calling a make or break year for Sammy, I see an opportunity for Sam to break out in a big way. Unlike this guy. Sorry, that never gets old.

Catching up with what your favorite NFL players are doing is part of why you're here. Catching up with guys on the street saying they can play again is not. Here you go anyway. Will anyone take a flyer on the former Longhorn? Probably not after the Buffalo Bills debacle. But hey, if Terrell Owens can still play, why can't Vince?

Stan Kroenke's company KSE LLC is buying the Outdoor channel. Why does that matter? The Outdoor channel owns CableCam and SkyCam, both of which are used at major sports events, including NFL games. Conspiracy!!!!! You thought Belicheat's SpyGate was something! Mmhhooo aaaahhhaaa!!

Rams rookies Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey got carded yesterday. Rookie cards that is. While not ground breaking, it's nice to get a preview shot of them breaking a big play for the Rams. So excited to see the tandem continue their success in the NFL.

No issue of Random Ramsdom would be complete without an update on Baby Jesus. Tim Tebow is in the news again, but for all the wrong reasons. With his playing days likely behind him, for now, Tebow can start focusing on what really matters to him, the ministry. Maybe he'll make a comeback. Anyone have him down for Comeback Player of the Year for 2014, 2015?

Finally, do you remember those great Public Service Announcements during Saturday morning cartoons? Yeah, they weren't great but at least they weren't this. P.S. PSA's from Joe. Warning: Explicit Content Have a great weekend Rams Nation!
