Tavon Austin and Gidget, My Brother-In-Law's Toy Poodle

Forty years ago, my brother-in-law and I played a game with his toy poodle. The object was to catch Gidget while she ran around the backyard trying to avoid us. The amazing tiny dog would not be caught. She was to quick, changing directions faster than either of us could anticipate. Even when we seemingly had her trapped, all we came up with was air and Gidget was long gone. We got tired while she never did. My bigger dog, a German Shepherd, was much easier to catch. He could run, but he was not fast enough on the turns. After watching the video of Tavon Austin destroying the Oklahoma Sooners, it reminded me of chasing that little dog those years ago.

The NFL trend appears to be toward smaller, quicker, and faster. The 2013 season could be very interesting.
