The St. Louis Rams recently concluded their rookie minicamp over the weekend. If you care about the players that the Rams drafted and wanted to hear news about them, you were out of luck. Head coach Jeff Fisher mentioned that the camp was mainly about installing plays, and learning more about the undrafted players.
For 6 lucky tryout players, they were lucky enough to catch coach Fisher and the rest of the staff's eye. So these players will join the other rookie free agents, as they all try to climb the long hill that is making the NFL's 53 man roster.
Andre Martin CB from N Dakota ST- A football player and a track athlete. He's around 5'10 and 180+ pounds. 6 pass breakups and 53 tackles in his final season.
Tim Jenkins QB Fort Lewis College- The Rams will need QB's on the roster for camp, Jenkins could make the practice squad. He only played in 6 games last season.
Joseph LeBeau LB Jackson State- Lebeau is making the switch from defensive end to linebacker. Probably won't make the final 53.
Don Unamba S Southern Arkansas- Umamba had a good season.47 tackles and 3 interceptions. The Rams need help at safety, it would be a long shot but you never know.
Scott Pillar WR Albright College- Division 3 receiver that caught 80 balls for 1093 yards, and 12 touchdowns.
Sean Hooey OL Cincinnati- Can't find much on Hooey, but he was ranked 22 out of 24 offensive tackles by sbnations draft sight mocking the draft.
These players might be facing long odds to make the roster, but anything could happen.
