Happy Friday Rams Nation. Ever so slowly the year marches on. This weekend we'll see our team opening up rookie mini-camp, testing out all those UDFA's we've picked up. I know I'm looking forward to it like a dog is to a belly rub. Hopefully the Rams can scratch that spot just right so I'll start shaking my leg and doing the happy dance come playoff time.
Keep Getting Younger
ESPN NFC West Columnist Mike Sando points out, that with the influx of rookies, the Rams got younger by a whole year! Hey, at the end of the day we still have experienced veterans locked up for long term deals where it counts. The Rams may be a young team, but they sure don't play like it. That's what sound coaching and good mentor-ship gives you.
Hey Rookie, Show Me What You Got!
Rookies! Need I say more? What is more exciting that throwing a bunch of rookies together, having them compete for their lives, and having the coaching staff pluck out the best of the rest? Rookie Mini-Camp!
Stedman, and I Don't Mean Fresh Prince
Nathan Kearns is becoming a go to for me when I want a quality read from a site other than TST. He does it again with a nice write up about "the other" receiver, Stedman Bailey- West Virginia. When this pick happened I was over the moon. Talk about a one-two punch baby!
Release of Titus Young Saves a Headache
The Rams saved themselves some embarrassment when they released Titus Young just 10 days after claiming him off of the waiver wire. The troubled, yet talented wide out was arrested, and then arrested again on the same day. Guess his days are done. Oh wait, there's still Cincinnati and Oakland he could go to.
Around the League Mini-Camp Style
Breaking down the most pressing questions for all 32 teams at camp, SI asks can the Rams young guns mesh and have success. I say hell to the yeah they can!
