Rams safety T.J. McDonald shows off his diving skills

New Ram T.J. McDonald shows off how athletic he is by diving with the USC diving team

The St. Louis Rams selected USC safety T.J. McDonald with the No. 71 pick of the 2013 Daft.

This pick is very familiar to me, since I live in southern California and am a USC fan. I knew the guy's strengths: he's a hitter. He'll knock the snot off of ya. I also knew McDonald's weakness – coverage. So, in an attempt to view more videos of his play, I headed over to Youtube.

On Youtube, I saw a video of T.J.'s plays against cross town rival UCLA, followed by the Oregon game. (Click here if y'all want to see said video.)

What really caught my eye, however, was a video suggested in the side bar. The video, titled "Matt vs. USC Diving," shows exactly that: Matt Barkley with USC's diving team. Along side Barkley were sophomore linebacker Dion Bailey and our third-rounder – T.J. McDonald.

McDonald was definitely the steal of the show (So much for it being called "Matt vs. USC Diving'). McDonald shows off his athletic versatility at the 1:36 mark, pulling off a pretty nifty double front flip dive.
