18 game regular season played over 20 weeks, with 2 bye weeks per team. Each team plays home and road games vs. each division opponent = 8 games, and 1 game vs. each team in 2 other divisions = 10 games, alternated per season so that each team plays entire league every 5 years and visits every league city every 9 years.
60 man rosters with 50 active per game. All players except kickers, punters and long snappers must be inactive for 2 games per season.
Top 12 wild cards, seeded 11th thru 22nd, regardless of division, play 1st round of playoffs to determine which 6 will join 10 division winners, seeded 1 thru 10, in round of 16.
Super Bowl played no later than February 23rd.
