Sup guys, I'm back with my third and final mock. Here it is, hope you like.
1A- Tavon Austin WR LSU
Make or break season for Bradford, why not help him out? Austin may be small but we all know what he can do when he gets the ball. He is also versatile and capable of returning kicks, something we have lacked forever. He may not be here, but if he is, he must be the pick.
1B- Alec Ogletree LB Georgia
Dunbar surprised everyone with his play last, year at OLB and as expected Laurinaitis was solid at MLB. We can use an upgrade at the other OLB spot. Ogletree is an athletic and smart player and would be a starter day one. Also, if Laurinaitis were to ever get hurt he could slide over and take over at MLB.
2- Larry Warford G Kentucky
We could use another guard. Warford is a solid pick here. He has the chance to be a starter along with Harvey Dahl. Also, he did not let up a single sack last season.
3- DJ Swearinger S South Carolina
Dahl is gone( :D ) and so is Mikell. Regardless if Mikell comes back or not safety is a position of need for the Rams. Swearinger is a good run defender and big hitter, exactly the kind of player Fisher likes.
4- Le'Veon Bell RB Michigan State
We were all sad to see Jackson leave. That leaves us with Pead and Richardson, neither of them however are 3 down backs. Enter Le'Veon Bell. A SJax clone, and a good compliment to the speed of Pead and Richardson.
5- TJ MacDonald S USC
Another safety to fill the last spot in our secondary. MacDonald is a talented and smart and physical player who's seen his stock fall. The fifth round is a good spot for him and he could be a real steal here for us.
6- Akeem Spence DT Illinois
A strong player with a lot of upside, and could be a solid backup.
7- Tavarres King WR Georgia
Lot of potential and upside for this kid. Could possibly become a solid number 3, maybe number 2 WR.
There it is. What ya'll think? Sorry I'm in a bit of rush so I couldn't do much analysis for each pick, but still tell me if you like it or not. Thanks, and go horns!
