Well, as my first wasn't popular enough, here is my second stab at it. Hopefully it is better, and I am keeping my trade from last time (our #22 for their #37, #53 and #104) I believe that we don't resign any free agents except maybe Kellen Clemens and Craig Dahl for depth. But we do cut (and I dont think it will happen, but i would be extremely happy if it did) Quintin Mikell. Next, we go out and sign two free agents: Louis Delmas (S) and Dustin Keller (TE) So after all that, here is what I think our needs are: RT, RG, RB depth, WR, DL depth, OLB, and one safety. Those are 7 positions, and we have 10 picks. That is great.
Now to the mock itself.
1st round (16)- Tavon Austin, WR (new list of needs: RT, RG, RB depth, DL depth, OLB, S)
2nd round (37 from CIN)- DJ Fluker, OT and if he isn't there, Terron Armstead, OT. (new list of needs: RG, RB depth, DL depth, OLB, S)
2nd round (46 our own)- Khaseem Greene, OLB (new list of needs: RG, RB depth, DL depth, S)
2nd round (53 from CIN)- Kyle Long, OT/OG (new list of needs: RB depth, DL depth, S)
3rd round- Montee Ball, RB** (new list of needs: DL depth, S)
4th round (94 our own)- DJ Swearinger, S (new list of needs: DL depth, S)
4th round(104 from CIN)- Jordan Hill, DT (Draft for depth here on out)
5th round- Josh Boyce, WR (FAST!!!)
6th round- Jake Knott, OLB
7th round- Eric Herman, OG
**I know many of you wouldn't like a running back for depth so early, especially when Jeff Fisher says that our current corps of running backs are sufficient, but I've seen a lot of this guy. Montee is REALLY GOOD, and underratedd sadly. 10 years ago, he would have gone first round without a doubt, and with a trio of Daryl Richardson, Isaiah Pead and Montee Ball, the team wouldn't miss Sjax nearly as much.
So there you have it.
