(with a shout-out to "ramsrock", as I'm continuing on from his earlier post...)
Thank you gentlemen - seriously. Thank you from stopping this beloved Rams organisation of ours from continuing to be a laughing stock in the NFL. Sure, this vision of yours is still in it's early stages. But what you gentlemen have done in the short time you've been here (and yes Mr. Demoff, I'm including you in that) has been nothing short of remarkable. I now know that if a situation arises where we let a free agent leave without signing, you have it all in hand. No more do I feel the need to check Twitter or any NFL website every 10 seconds to see where we're at with a potential signing. I now trust you three, along with Mr. Stan Kroenke, to get the job done. No more "Mad" Mike Martz. No more "Jolly" Joe Vitt. No more "Stuttering" Scott Linehan. No more "Jumping" Jim Haslett. No more "Smiling" Steve Spagnuolo (with extra reference to his "hand-clapping" and "Four Pillars" bullshit). No more Jay Zygmunt. No more Billy Devaney. No more sorrow in the hearts of every St. Louis Rams fan and TST member.
Les Snead, with your rock-solid hair probably able to stay in place during a tornado - you are one of the coolest cats, ANYWHERE, on God's green earth. It's even more remarkable to know that this is your first General Manager position in the league. You walk and act like you've been doing the job for years. Kevin Demoff - I don't think enough respect comes your way for the remarkable job you've done to get things right with this franchise. You're just as much in the thick of things as anyone else, and when you show up wining and dining players to make this young team of ours better, it means a lot - especially if you pick up the tab. And finally, the "Mustached Maestro" himself - Jeff Fisher. Responsible for selling your vision to the likes of Jared Cook and Jake Long of where you see the St. Louis Rams heading to whilst you're in charge. Thank you for what you've done since choosing us over sunny Miami. Thank you for making this team respectable again. Thank you for making men out of the likes of Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, Chris Givens, Greg Zuerlein, Daryl Richardson, Johnny Hekker, whilst still working on the likes of Brian Quick and Isaiah Pead. Thank you for Hayes, Dunbar, Finnegan, amongst many others. And thank you for helping us forget the turmoil we've been in since our beloved Dick Vermeil left us after our 1999 triumph, and Mike Martz certifiably went mad after 2001.
Gentlemen, thank you everything you've done so far - long may it continue...
