Early Reports and Rams

Yesterday, a report came out that TE Cook had signed with the Rams for 5 year $35 Million. It was false reporting, but 2-3 hours later it was confirmed that TE Cook had signed with the Rams. It turns out that he signed for 5 year $35 Million. Earlier today, it was reported LT Jake Long had signed with the Rams, but it turned out to be false reporting. Maybe it wasn't.

I highly doubt that anyone believes in 15 hour physicals. Plus, Fisher and company like keeping everything quite. A part of this organization that I am not too fond of. Jim Thomas was the one who falsified both reports. I would say that the initial falsifying of TE Jared Cook has hurt his credentials a bit. He didn't lie about it, but he may have hidden information. Media in this day is so interesting, that offering early information is almost as important as offering correct information. I am sure if LT Jake Long ends up signing with the Rams, people won't listen to Jim Thomas anymore. It is a reverse crying wolf theory.

I am personally pretty confident that Jake Long has signed with the Rams. If the first report was correct about Jared Cook down to the last penny, I am sure there is some reporter out there doing their job right. Reporting the news and not just sitting on it. It is pretty funny to me that Jim Thomas is still reporting a 15 hour Physical. Anyways, the person that worries me isn't Jake Long anymore, it is Louis Delmas. I haven't heard of any news about him. His physical may be had complications.

This is my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Thank you for reading.
