There is 3 some hours before free agency begins. 2013 off-season will finally bear its first fruits. Since the final whistle of Superbowl XLVII, this is what we have been waiting for. We all have talked, predicted, discussed, questioned, angered, laughed, analyzed, hoped, prepared and waited. For most Rams fans over the past decade, this has been the best part of football. Off season was the only place where our dreams were alive. We were all equals with a 0-0 record. This was our only playing ground, but that has changed recently, or so we hope.
A decade spent without a winning season, and now spring has arrived at our doorsteps. Fisher and Snead have promised the blooming and blossoming of this once great franchise, which was rippled at its core by a long cold winter. The hopes and dreams of all rams fans are alive. All there is left are a few more hours of fog. A fog of silence, which has taken over our very being. We anxiously wait with our hopes in our hearts, and our curiosity at its peak. No one dares to say anything in these final hours, because everything that needed to be said has been well stated and documented many times over. We know the perimeters, we know the landscape, we are aware of what we hold in our hands, and we are confident in our front office. All we have now is a few hours, a fog of silence.
Silence enriches the senses, and feeds the memories. We remember the days of old, and the moments implanted in our manifestation forever. We recall every memento that connects us to this great team. Recapturing all that we have been through together, and we wait. We wait for the fog to lift. We sit in silence that brings both sorrow and hope. Too wise for the tongue to utter anything, expressing in words intelligible to those who do not share our history. We remain silent, and embrace our past. Eager to watch all our gifts unfold.
