Titus Young: The Ram's newest head case.

The Rams coach Fisher makes headlines by taking on another headcase for the good of the Rams in the form of Titus Young. Titus was an explosive receiver out of college and was drafted by the Lions. However, his attitude and angry tweets ran him off of the team in short order. Can Jeff Fisher handle so many head cases? He handled Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, and Chris Givens fairly well last year, its more likely than not that Titus will fall into line.

I am better than Calvin Johnson!

Those are some strong words, especially from a young wide receiver in the league who has yet to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season. However, this does not show arrogance, this shows a competitive spirit. If you don't think you are better than others you are not a true athlete. Many people are freak athletes. It takes the ones that have the fire to drive them that make the NFL. Titus has that fire. He is a great athlete.

Titus Young can be a starting wide receiver and be a deadly option next to Chris Givens. Both have 4.3 speed. Slide Danny Amendola in the slot underneath and have Kendricks or Jackson go out for a pass and you have a dangerous offense.

Not only is Titus young dangerous. He is Cheap. Titus young is set to be paid $555,000 next year with a $185,000 signing bonus. That is a total of $740,000. That is a very low cost contract. Jeff Fisher has picked up yet another low risk high reward player that he can sculpt.

Low risk monetarily. But what if Young ruins the strong locker room the Ram's have developed? He could be more dangerous to team chemistry than to opposing team secondaries. That is the Risk the Rams are taking.

However, the Lions were coached by Jim Schwartz, a coach not really known for his self control and demeanor. Jeff Fisher is a rock. Players can respect that. Titus will play for Fisher and he will play hard. He will keep his mouth shut in the locker room, and he will become one of the Rams top offensive weapons.

And some people were worried about the Rams being quiet in Free Agency because of our salary cap. We can expect more of the same from Snead and Fisher. They will sign more Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Titus Young players. Players with more potential than salary numbers. That way sounds just fine to me.

Welcome to St.Louis Titus. Don't screw this up.
