One move that can shape the draft this year for the Rams is the signing of RT Sebastian Vollmer. Now, the Patriots have been player poaching us as of late, so why not steal one of the best RTs in the game away from them? He's young, experienced, and is a damn good bookend. Picking up a guy like Vollmer would give us an extra pick this year. In that, I mean not wasting or reaching for a RT prospect that isn't there. Preferably, this lets us only worry about one of the offensive line spots in the draft, LG. With two elite prospects at the G position and two elite prospects at the T position, at 16, it's a good chance the two Ts are out of the equation. Picking up either Chance Warmack or Jonathan Cooper with the first pick would let us take 3 playmakers with the next 3 picks. This can open us up to nabbing a safety, wide receiver, and tight end with the next three picks.
Imagine adding players like Sebastian Vollmer, Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cyprien, Tyler Eifert, and Da'Rick Rogers this offseason.
