From the looks of things in NY the G-Men can't afford to pay Victor Cruz. He's set to become a RFA which means. A restricted free agent (RFA) is one with three accrued seasons of service, who has received a qualifying offer from his current club. He can negotiate with any club through a certain date. If the restricted free agent accepts an offer sheet from a new club, his old club has right of first refusal a seven-day period in which it may match the offer and retain him, or choose not to match the offer, in which case it may receive one or more draft picks for the upcoming draft from the player's new club. If an offer sheet is not executed, the player's rights revert to his old club the day after negotiations must end.and they can't use the tag on him because. The tag on WR's is around 10 mill this year which would put them over the cap and even if they signed him. They would have a even bigger problem next year because Nicks would be a FA also. It's a matter of pick and choose in NY and honestly i think Nicks would be the better choice because. His hand are second to none and he seem's more of all around polished WR then Cruz. Only problem with him is staying healthy. The real ? is would fisher give a first round pick for Cruz Les has been Quoted saying we want weapons. What better weapon than Cruz it not in this draft for sure and he better than all of the FA WR's so why not.
As always let me know what you think your opinions are greatly appreciated
