Draft Q&A

PLEASE SKIP THIS MESS AND LOOK AT THE FIRST COMMENT! I'm ashamed! Hello everyone! I'm extremely nervous creating this fanpost, it being my first and all. I've read many articles/fanposts on this site and truly appreciate the knowledge that some users have about my favorite team. I'd like to start off by saying that all of you are doing a great job (some more than others) but overall this is the first site I've found where the comments aren't non-stop bashing of other people's thoughts. I'm starting to ramble (again I'm nervous) so let's dive straight in. Oh, and here's a shout out to those of you in California, thank you for being true fans and not jumping ship when the Rams moved. That takes dedication. I've combed over many of the draft articles and overall like what our fanbase is thinking. I think we all know the Rams are up and coming and there's alot to be excited about. Most of us also understand that last year means nothing if we don't build on that success. I believe (as most of us do) that we won't be big spenders in the free agent market this year. That means this year's draft is just as important as last year's. This fanpost is more about the comments than the article (as many are), so I'm going to put questions out there, to see what the overall feedback is. So here's some questions. 1) How likely is it that the Rams trade up? 2) How likely is it that the Rams will trade down? 3) Who are the 3 most likely teams for said trade up/down situation? 4) Lets say we agree that G, OT, OLB, S, and WR are our biggest needs. What would you address first/second/third/etc. 5) Who is your man-crush for this year's draft? 1.) I personally think there's close to 0% chance in trading up. It would take something crazy (KC, DET, and ARZ passing on Joekel??? Maybe Star dropping past the Chargers?). Both scenarios are higly unlikely. 2.) Now when it comes to trading down, I'd be shocked if we didn't trade down twice this draft. Something like last year, say move down with the 16th pick, and probably a day 2 pick to gain a late rounder. 3.) My 3 teams that are most likely to trade up to us would be A. Houston - Andre Johnson needs another receiver that can draw attention. I think it likely Houston falls in love with Codarelle Patterson or Keenan Allen. At pick 16 both a viable options. B. Ravens - They are going to want a S or LB in the first round. I think Vacarro and Olgetree will be there at 16. 'Nuff said. C. Buffalo - This involves the 22nd pick. We have seen Qb needy teams make odd trades and seeing their need at QB it's an interesting possiblity. They would trade their 2nd 3rd and 6th round picks. 4.) My order would be OT / S / WR / OLB / OG. I think it's crazy people have us taking any guard before the 22nd pick, even then it would have to be Warmack. Personal opinion. 5.) My man-crush of the 2013 draft is - Jarvis Jones. Call me crazy, but I remember this guy who was touted as the best DE of the 2011 draft class, but be fell due to worries about a beign tumor in his brain. That man's name was Robert Quinn, and that dude is a beast. Well there you have it folks! My first fanpost. I hope you all enjoyed it, as I also hope it gets the comment section buzzing! (Apologizes for those who are grammer-holics, English was never my strong suit, but I did make an effort!).
