Call me crazy, but I'd like to raise a question. I may be alone in my thoughts and assumptions, but does anyone think Stedman Bailey has the potential to be a #2 or dare I say......#1 receiver? I mean, from what I've seen this kid can catch. He's been targeted a mere 7 times, catching 5 for 70-something yards and averages a little over 15 yards per catch. He runs smart routes and obviously has his heart in the right place and has come a long way in terms of learning the playbook. I know he's barely seen the field so it may be to early to tell but I just cannot make sense of the fact that Fish or Schotty won't put him in for more snaps. I like what I see out of him, more so than Pettis or Quick. Hell I think I'd even take him over Givens, regardless of what Givens did last year. I don't know. Maybe I'm just thinking outside the box since our receiving corps has been a disappointment thus far but I think he's more than earned his right to at least be given a solid chance. Thoughts? Anyone?
