How about some props & credit to Brian Schottenheimer?

Brian Schottenheimer has received his fair share of criticism this year and arguably then some from many here at TST. I will grant you that on some occasions this year I have his questioned some his play calling and in particular in the red zone. But I thought he called an excellent game today.

Did anyone besides me like the way he called the game today? What did you think of his call early in the 4th quarter when it was 4th and 1. He tricked the Bucs' D into thinking it was going to be a pass play. It was in fact a cleverly disguised quarterback sneak. It thought it was a brilliantly designed play. It worked to perfection.

Another play I like that worked very well was the double reverse that resulted in Stedman Bailey's first touchdown. You certainly don't see that very often. Nothing novel, but it worked perfectly.

I just thought it was time that we gave Schotty some credit for his contribution towards our victory today. We are very quick to criticize him. So why not be just as quick to praise him when it is due him. As always, Go Rams.
