Hello fellow rams fans.
I just want to share some thoughts with you all, and see if I was the only person feeling this way. So here goes.
Three years ago, I watched the rams fall to 2-14 after a promising 7-9 record the year before. All I could do was shake my head in disgust, we were so bad some Sundays I would stop watching after halftime. They would just ruin my Sunday afternoons, with there uncompetive efforted while flat out losing laying down. To make matters worse, I am also a Bengals fan then they would lay an egg also so you can just image how football season was for me. I watch my rams get beat game after game I would actually get so angry, tears would fall and any object that was in reach was going at or through my tv. I was just flat out sick of the rams, I even thought about not even watching football anymore. The rams and the bengals were my teams, and I wasn't gonna root for anyone else so football was pointless to watch. In early 2011 the rams my favorite team hired Jeff fisher, I always was a fan of his, in 1999 I told my cousin the the Titans were going to beat the rams in the regular season and they did. That 1999 titans team was tough, physical and had one of the best defenses in the league, to go along with a young dangerous Steve McNair and my second favorite buckeye of all time Eddie George (Orlando pace) (will always be number one in my book). Then came the Super Bowl my favorite team the rams two of my favorite players going head to head. The gsot vs a tough physical hard nose defense lead by a, young mullet head Jeff fisher who love to kick ass. I rooted for the rams of course and we won on a great play by mike jones, stopping Andre dyson one yard short of a touchdown. Oh the feeling I get from just thinking about my rams and the gsot days. Now those days are over and since 2006 my rams have been bad until recently. If you think about what Jeff Fisher has done in two years it's amazing to even think about, three years ago we were the one of the oldest teams in the league with little to no talent and a roster full cast offs and other teams practice sqaud players. Now in year two of the fisher era he has won more games than spags and linehan. In there years of coaching the rams, fisher has done more than any other coach in the league has done with the worst team to suit up. Lets think about this for a second, only 7 players from the previous roster remains on this team, thats 7 out of a 53 man roster. Were talking about a complete overhaul, if fisher wasn't the coach of the rams I don't think we could have been as active in free agency as we been either. The NFC west is the toughest division in the nfl and other than Pete Carroll. Harbaugh and Bruce walked in to great situations, with way better players and great defenses. I think we end up 7-9 again but one thing for sure, Jeff Fisher is our best shot at getting back to the top. Considering where we were to where we are now, I'm thankful Jeff Fisher has taken over this team and. I really feel that with a few more players in key roles we will be a force for years to come.
