A quick mock of what I think would be a great draft for the Rams:
With the #2 pick, I look for us to ransom it. Ideally, we find that Cleveland values it for 2 first rounders. If not, then a first, second, and fourth would be the least I would accept. That is what I'm going with in this scenario.
#5 overall - Anthony Barr OLB UCLA
With Jake Matthews likely gone, along with David Carr, Teddy Bridgewater, and Jadeveon Clowney, Barr fills a need while also being the BPA.
#14 overall - Taylor Lewan OT Michigan
He's a Jake Long twin and is a nasty player. He excels in both pass and run blocking and will add strength and depth (Barksdale) to the offensive line.
#37 overall - Stephon Tuitt DT Notre Dame
At 6'7" and 322 lbs, he is the other half that Brockers needs. They play the same way and are built the same with size, strength, and smarts.
#46 overall - Lurichez Purifoy CB Florida
We need help on the outside. Bringing in a big, man-to-man corner as our #4 is a great pick-up.
#78 overall - Carlos Hyde RB Ohio State
Hes a bruising back and would provide a great presence pass-blocking and in the red zone.
#101 overall - Anthony Steen G Alabama
Depth to the OL is lacking. Especially with about 4 question marks in Saffold, Williams, Dahl, and Wells.
#110 overall - Anthony Johnson DT LSU
The 4th DT position isn't as strong as the 4th DE position. Adding Johnson into the rotation on defense and special teams would be a big boost to the Rams.
