I love Sam Bradford. Coaches love Sam. He is a great person, who throws accurate passes. He is a team player, and his teammates love him too. Sam never does anything wrong from a leadership stand point. He is loved by almost all in the Rams community. The only thing Sam doesn't have is fire in his ass. He doesn't have a chip on his shoulder, he doesn't have that I'm going to beat you or die mentality. He is too poised for his own good. He would probably make a great golfer.
Unfortunately for him, this is football. There is no room for nice guys in football. No matter how talented you are. Now comes Johnny Manziel. He is not the tallest guy, nor is he the prototypical QB. What he does have is spunk. This kid is a born winner, he has that swag about him. He plays better against stronger teams like Auburn and Alabama, because this kid is a fighter. He doesn't want to manage games, he wants to crush people. He is a mixture between: RG3-Brees-Newton. He is not brittle either, sitting at 6'1" and 210 lbs.
I say, if Manziel is sitting there for us in the second round, we take him. Let him sit behind Sam Bradford for a year, before we hand over the reins. We desperately need a Winner on this team.
