31's Picks Week 10

This is the first time in weeks I can tell you, just from looking at the board, that I got my upset pick of the week wrong with the Rams pretty much giving away a game to the Titans this past weekend. It was a winnable game, but it's the Rams that we're talking about without their franchise Quarterback, I should've seen that coming. Other than that, lets look at how I did for the rest of the games this week.

Results Straight Up Spread Rams Straight Up
Week 9 7-6 6-7 0-1
Overall 91-42 71-62 5-4

This was a very average to below-average week for me on both fronts whether it be Straight Up or the Spread. Some very unlikely outcomes this week, or at least in my opinion. One that I really thought I had locked was the Raiders over the Eagles, but they unfortunately made Foles look like Peyton Manning. Another that I thought was quite the lock was the Saints beating the Jets, but the NFL has just been full of parity this season, huh? Anyways, it is what it is, lets get to my projections, shall way?

St. Louis Rams vs Indianapolis Colts

Lets see if I get my math correct on this one:

Us playing the Colts (Them being at home)+ Rams Inconsistencies = Blowout

Looks about right...

Upset pick of the Week

Minnesota Vikings Over Washington Redskins

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but that's what an upset is for, right. They're at home and the Redskins aren't exactly World Beaters this season. Could happen, right?

Duh Pick of the Week

Indianapolis Colts over St. Louis Rams

Shouldn't be close, but it would be nice to be proven wrong as usual when I pick against the Rams.

Iffy Pick of the Week

Dallas Cowboys over New Orleans Saints

Don't trust Romo, but it seems as though when people start to seriously doubt his abilities, he has a great game to get ESPN and all of Cowboys Nations a glimmer of hope. The Saints are the perfect match to make a statement.

Chicago Bears over Detroit Lions

The Bears are at home and I think the Bears can force the Lions, specifically Stafford, to make some mistakes.
