31's Picks Week 12

Long time no post, I didn't put up my post last week because I've been hella busy with homework, finals preparation and work in general. I think I'm tired of being an adult, is there anyway that I can be a kid again? Anyways, I still did make my picks last week although I didn't post them so lets see how exactly I did these last two weeks combined, shall we?

By the way, I'm not going to do the spread anymore. It's not that I'm doing bad in that catogary, it's just I don't feel like messing with it anymore and I don't really care for it either. Each week I pretty much just focused on the straight up anyways so that is what I will dedicate most of my time to now.

Results Straight Up Rams Straight Up
Week 10 6-8 0-1
Week 11 12-3 0-0
Overall 109-53 5-5

As you can see, my week 10 results were pretty brutal with some locks coming up short. With that being the fact I had to knock the ball out of the park in the week 11 results to keep pace with my expectations, which in any case, I did. It seems as though with my picks, that when I do have a bad week, I seem to bounce back and that has stayed true throughout the year. Anyways, here's my picks for this week.

Away Home Winner
New Orleans Saints Atlanta Falcons Atlanta Falcons
New York Jets Baltimore Ravens Baltimore Ravens
Carolina Panthers Miami Dolphins Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Detroit Lions Detroit Lions
Jacksonville Jaguars Houston Texans Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts Arizona Cardinals Indianapolis Colts
Dallas Cowboys New York Giants New York Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers Cleveland Browns Pittsburgh Steelers
Chicago Bears St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams
Minnesota Vikings Green Bay Packers Green Bay Packers
San Diego Chargers Kansas City Chiefs Kansas City Chiefs
Tennessee Titans Oakland Raiders Oakland Raiders
Denver Broncos New England Patriots New England Patriots
San Francisco 49ers Washington Redskins Washington Redskins

St. Louis Rams vs Chicago Bears

I believe this is a winnable game and it could go either way. The key is to get to the Quarterback with our defensive line, if we can do that, then this game could be ours. It's a toss up so I'm trusting the Rams to win it.

Upset of the Week

I have quite a few upsets this week, but none bigger than the Redskins over the 49ers. I think this is a game that the Redskins will try to prove that there's nothing wrong with them and they will come out firing on offense. This might be the first time all season that we see RG3 being his old self.

Duh Pick of the Week

Houston Texans over Jacksonville Jaguars

They have to win this game at home, right?

Iffy Pick of the Week

New York Giants over Dallas Cowboys

I care less about this game, both teams are fairly bad in their own rights, fighting in arguably the worst division in football right now. The Giants are at home so I give them the edge. Seems like they're doing their "Rise from the Dead" thing again. They're the only team in that division that I could see making a push in the playoffs just based off of their reputation.
