Currently the Rams sit in last place in the division race. That should not be a big surprise to anyone by now. This week the Rams face the Chicago Bears at EJD. This game looks to be more difficult to win than the last game against Indy. The Bears lead in every statistical category except sacks and time of possession.

QB Josh McCown who has been filling in for Jay Cutler has proven to be a very capable back-up. He’s running a completion percentage of 60.4, 7.5 YPA, and has five TD’s with no interceptions. He has managed to be sacked 5 times and this might be a big day for Mr. Quinn.

The top rusher is Matt Forte with 774 yards at 4.4 per attempt, which doesn’t sound that great until you add in his 7 TD’s so far this year. To top it off Matt has 374 receiving yards and another TD.

The main WR’s for the Bears are Brandon Marshall who leads the way with 828 yards and 8 TD’s. Alshon Jeffery has added 818 of his own yards and 3 TD’s.

The Bears defense is no slouch with a positive 10 turnover ratio and a team total 14 Interceptions.

This week’s Division Games:

SF @ Wash / SF49ers win this one

Arizona vs. Indy / Indy

Rams vs. Bears / Bears should win, but I hope they lose big time.

Seattle is on their bye-week

We actually improved without doing anything last week. However it was less than 1% so now we are sitting pretty at a 99% chance of making the last wildcard spot. In order to make the playoffs the Rams will have to win out the rest of the season, and get some help from other teams dropping some games.

Currently if nothing changed the Rams have a 23% chance of making the number 7 spot which of course is not a playoff berth. San Francisco is controlling the number 6 spot with a 29% chance of keeping it. The following teams need to start losing some games. This is the following NFC Playoff Standings in order.
