Welcome back to another edition of waiver wired. This is a light week of free agents. At this point, you are playing your studs, unless you need a one-week fill in for this last round of byes. If your team is looking great for the playoffs, you should be looking for handcuffs for your top running backs as well as backup tight ends, kickers or defense. Taking a look at Weeks 14, 15, 16 is not a bad thing; start planning your lineups and thinking ahead. A few guys who may be available that I have listed previously are Andre Brown, Shane Vereen, Harry Douglas, Bobby Rainey, and John Carlson
Here is my list of top pickups this week:
Rashad Jennings - He has been on this list before, but with McFadden out for a while, he may be a great pickup for this week and the stretch run.
Coby Fleener - He had been dropped in some leagues, but with Wayne out, he seems to have found his groove the past few weeks.
Jarett Boykin - He still seems to have a nice role in the offense with Jones coming back.
Delanie Walker - He continues to ring up pretty decent numbers, and is a quality emergency start or backup for playoffs.
Santonio Holmes - He finally came back. The Jets do have a nice schedule for the next 5 weeks.
Daniel Thomas - He is back too, and he got three times the carries that Lamar Miller did last week, including a touchdown.
Scott Tolzien - This is only if you are in a league with limited penalties for interceptions. He does have a great matchup this week.
Montee Ball - He only got eight carries, but seems to always get a few inside the 10, even with the fumble last week.
Michael Floyd - Not sure how many leagues he'll be available in, but I have him in a few and like him the rest of the way after his big game last week.
Thanks for reading. We will be back later in the week with the start/sit column. Please ask any questions on Twitter or the below comments
Thanks,
