SF, Seattle, Cards, Detroit, Chicago, Carolina, NO, GB and even the Cowpods, have better records and most own tiebreakers over us. Plus somebody's got to win the NFC East.
One important tiebreaker being overlooked is "wins in conference games." So far we’re 1-6 against NFC teams. Sadly, even if the 2013 Rams ran the table and finished 10-6, we’re still out of it. Our post-season chances ended with the close losses to Seattle and Tenn. And, of course, the early stomping by a worthless Atlanta team put the 1st nail in our coffin.
Sad but true. Even so, I'd love to see the Rams harm the Seahacks, Bears, 49ers records and have some impact on the playoffs. If we somehow beat Seattle and the 49ers, then SF and Arizona beat Seattle and we lose to the NO, that could prevent the Seahacks from getting homefield advantage in that most hellish of all partisan stadiums. I think the Saints and Drew Brees could whoop them in the Superdome.
I'd be thrilled shitless if the there's anyway the Rams could make 8-8 this year.
