This was a great week for me in all honesty and I'm very happy right now. I'm feeling like a complete stud after predicting that the Rams would beat the Texans, although if the Texans suck for the rest of the season and the Rams continue to get better then it's not going to be much of an upset, but I'll take it for the moment. Anyways, lets get to it, shall we?
As I stated above, my upset of the week came to fruition when the Rams took down a very talented Texans team in their own stadium in an extremely unpredictable blowout that brought a terribly big smile to my face. As for the rest of the game this past week, I did just as good and had my best week so far. How good exactly did I do, well, why don't you look for yourself?

When it comes to the spread, well I'm starting not get too much for it so don't be surprised if I drop it sometime during this season and just have the focal point of my posts be just straight up because that's what I'm really focused on as the weeks go on. As for my straight up, I'm very happy with it as I said earlier in the post and I hope to keep this success up. After posting my worst record a few weeks ago, I've slowly, but surly get my record back up to where I want it.

St. Louis Rams vs Carolina Panthers
This may be a Carolina, but I'm feeling very confident that the Rams can get a win this week. The main thing that I think they have to focus on is rushing Newton and making him make mistakes. Basically, get him to make some turnovers. Yes, this is not in the dome, but if we can beat the Texans at away in blowout fashion, then we should be able to get by the Panthers. The run game should play a big part and along with that the play action game should be vital in this game. Can't let Sam sit back there against one of the best defenses in the NFL or he will take some hits, not that he's afraid to or anything. Rams win this one, but it should be close.
Upset of the Week
Indianapolis Colts over Denver Broncos
Yes, I went there. I'm breaking one of my rules of the regular season, but how great would it be for Andrew Luck to outduel Peyton to shut up all the people who are saying the Colts should have kept Manning. This game is in Indianapolis, which should hype this game up even more, I'm looking forward to a good one. The Kansas Chiefs, the last undefeated team in the NFL, if you say you predicted that from the beginning of the season, you're lying.
Duh Pick of the Week
San Diego Chargers over Jacksonville Jaguars
Iffy Pick of the Week
Kansas City Chiefs over Houston Texans
Sure, the Texans just got their asses handed to them by the Rams and I trust none of their Quarterbacks, but I could personally see them falling this week. What it comes down to is Kansas City has somewhat of a trustable quarterback in Alex Smith who wont turn the ball over, plus their at home.
