In case anyone is wondering, I'm doing this writing series now because it's our "off season" as writers. It's the time of year to get better at what we do. I learn the most by reading books, but that's just me. You'd be amazed how much better you're writing will improve by reading great books. It's also the first thing I suggest to would-be novelists.
