Hey fellow rams fans

Ok David Amerson is a corner at NC State but was recruited as a free safety coming out of high school. As a corner his ok but he has been beat a'lot this season and he's not really much of a man to man type. So you ask why would he make a good safety. I will give you five reasons why i believe this guy is gonna be great

1. (rare Ball skills) his ball skill reminds me of Ronnie Lott,Darren Sharper,Ed Reed,Charles Woodson,Rod Woodson and Richard Sherman he his the ability to go up and get the ball like a WR an has the awareness to play the ball the air while maintaining his coverage responsibility

2. (size) at 6'3 195 pounds he could win most jump balls against NFL WR because the average height is around 5'11-6'2

3. (speed) he don't have elite speed but he's far from slow by him being so tall his strides or longer which help him cover a lot of ground in a hurry

4. (tackling) very player misses a tackle here and there but he's the best tackling corner in this draft by a long shot (imo) doesn't take poor angles very often and he's very good in run support

5. (zone coverage) most of the 13 int's he had in 2011 were because of cover 3 and cover 4 jumping flats playing under outs and snub routes and go routes or fades that's why when team's started finding the holes in the middle of the field it forced him to play man to man and exposed the weakest part of his game which is man to man and that works at free safety because you don't have play man to man that often mostly center field

he is a safety playing corner and would a steal in the draft plus his stock is falling and can be picked up in the second round maybe even early third
