I've been around TST for nigh on a year now and I damn well love it here. The regular staff contributors deliver such an unbelievable variety and depth of content, I find myself checking this site religiously. Recently, I've delved into the fanpost sections and found them to be quite rewarding. You guys rock. Really, you do.
Well, since TST is of the fans, for the fans, by the fans, I made a resolution to start looking into writing fanposts. While I admit I still need to find a niche that will allow me to come up with some sort of new and interesting information, I wanted to at least make one of these. So here it is, in all its brevity.
I believe that Snead, Demoff, and Fisher, LLC will exhibit their broad drafting prowess by scouting out a team of the nation's best psychic minds on the free agent market. These psychics will be employed in order to prognosticate the team that will finish with the worst record in the 2013 season, and therefore draft first in 2014. Since they are psychics, they will be able to see the absurd realities of tomorrow, like Tom Brady voiding his contract to pursue a life of knitting garments for Gisele to scoff at, or the entire 49ers team forfeiting each game as a form of political protest. We will then trade the Redskin's pick in 2014 to this team in addition to a 2nd rounder that year for their pick. If we make the deal now, when nobody has any idea this team will be drafting first, they'd be fools to turn it down.
Once the season transpires, and the Patriots are picking first, we will use their pick on Jadeveon Clowney because obviously. We can then use our first round pick as Sneadfish sees necessary.
Well, there you have it! This is what I see as the most likely move for the Rams this offseason. Please let me know what you think, or of course any psychics you know of (plz link to scouting reports).
Okay, so this wasn't really all that serious, but hopefully I can get it together to come up with one actually worth reading. Keep on keeping on, Ramsnation!
**Sidenote, I ate lunch with UConn CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson the other day, and he seemed like a sweet kid if not a touch goofy. I told him I'd be sick in the NFL (5-6, 150, kind of like a... compact Tavon Austin type), and for some reason he thought this was funny. Anyway, I wish him well and hope he gets drafted high and makes good on it.
