MOCK DRAFT CONTEST

The NFL Draft is still a few months away. But I thought it would be best to lay the groundwork for the mock draft contest now so that everyone who wants to participate may enter for a chance to win. So without further ado, the first draft for our contest rules:

For 1st round only Drafts:

If you correctly select the pick in the first round: 5 points

If you pick the right position but wrong player: 3 points

If you pick the right player but wrong team (in case of trades): 3 points

If you pick the right player and team but wrong spot (again in case of trades): 3 points

For multiple round drafts:

The same rules will apply for the first round of this category as it applied to the First Round only Draft.

For the second round If you correctly select the pick: 7 points

If you correctly select the position but not the player: 4 points

If you correctly select the player but wrong team: 4 points

If you correctly select the player and team but wrong spot: 4 points

Additional Rounds:

If you correctly select the pick in additional rounds: 3 points

If you correctly select the position but wrong player: 2 points

If you select the right player but wrong team: 2 points

If you select the right player and team but wrong spot: 2 points

For a RAMS ONLY mock draft:

If you correctly select the first round pick: 3 points

If you corectly select the first round pick's position: 2 points

I you correctly select the pick on rounds 2-4: 5 points

If you correctly select the positions of the picks 2-4: 4 points

If you correctly select the picks on round 5-7: 7 points

If you correctly select the positions of the picks 5-7: 6 points

Finally, If you would make a list of team draft needs you think the rams will select please list as many needs as the Rams have draft picks. If you think they will draft two guards two safeties. Put a x2 next to the S or OG. For each need the team fills regardless of round you will receive one point.

Now we will have two judges. I would like to nominate Ramfan1313 as he has proven to be a frequent visitor of this site and is well respected by the other members. We will need another judge. That could possibly be me or if someone really objects to that we can nominate someone else.

Now as to how you submit your draft. You will construct your final mock draft and you will title it. Mock Draft Entry: Screen Name You do not need explanations by your picks only the name and position of the player. At the top of the post please say which category you are in as this will make it easy to put you in the right contest.
