I saw some people on here talking about him and it makes brings forth the question would we be willing to spend a late round draft pick on him? Let start by saying my team played against his in high school when he was still a quarter back and he just killed us. He is a great athlete and although he didn't have the greatest season last year i think he was victim of bad quarterback play. With Blane Gabbert he was able to go for over 1,000 receiving but then the next two seasons his numbers dropped. This is due to James Franklin. Not just his inability to make tough throws but also due to the fact that with him being a duel threat Quarter Back Mizzou saw much more of a running game limiting Moe chances. If you remember the 2010 season then I'm sure like me you remember his ability to make things happen in space and also to catch anything thrown his way. He also has decent straight line speed and a great ability to get open. He was a quarterback until the day he went to Mizzou and worked at CB then WR. This means that in a limited time playing the position he was adjusted and learn quickly. We need a player who has that ability and is able to jump in and play the slot. Even if we do resign Danny, he is injury prone there is no reason not to have a safety valve. WIth Moe's down season I could see us getting him very late in the draft. Would you take a chance on him late in the draft, look and see if he goes undrafted, or just stay away entirely?
