Should we try to trade #16 if.........

If circumstances warrant doing so, should we trade #16 for additional picks? In other words, if the players we value high enough to warrant being picked at 16, that are positions of need are not there, should we trade? For example say Warmack/OG, Fisher/OT, Vacarro, Elam & Reid all safeties are not there, should we trade down?

CINN has pick 21 picks 37 & 53 (2nd) & 84 (3rd). Our pick 16 is worth 1,000 pts. CINN's pick 21 is worth 800 pts. If we traded our 16 for CINN's 21, they would owe us 200 pts. In other words, their pick in the 3rd rd (170 pts) plus their 5th rd (32 pts).

OR does this sound better: In exchange for our 16 we get from CINN both their picks in the 2nd, 37 & 53 (530+370=900 pts) plus their 4th & 5th rds worth 64+32=96 pts for grand total of 996 pts.

OR does this sound better: In exchange for our 16 (1,000 pts) plus our 4th (74 pts), total of 1,074 pts we get from CINN both their 2nd rds 37 & 53 plus their 3rd for a total of 1070 pts.
