"High and tight," the man said. My first thought had nothing to do with the haircut popularized by Marines on their way to Vietnam. Nope, just another random, inexplicable, out-of-context tweet from Tony Softli.
Check it out:
Give Williams the ball again, get him back in the saddle, this time son carry it high and tight, dont wave it outside your frame.— Tony Softli (@SoftliSTL) September 6, 2012
He's actually talking about David Wilson, the New York Giants rookie running back that fumbled the ball in the first half of the NFL season opener against the Cowboys. The same one that had him sobbing on the sidelines.
Football is back, y'all and that means all the sideline drama ... and bizarre tweets from Tony Softli, who used to work at "Nordstroms," which was apparently plural back in the day.
