The St. Louis Rams return to the Edward Jones Dome Sunday, opening up divisional play against the luckiest team in football, the Seattle Seahawks. Just how far in the past is Seattle's Monday night win*? Perhaps a better question is just how far in the past the Rams' six-sack performance last week against the Bears.

On paper, matchups always look a little different than they do in reality. A noisy crowd at the Dome and a week of Jeff Fisher and Paul Boudreau drilling away on their front five could have more of an impact than you might imagine. This Rams team has done a remarkable job of correcting their problems week to week through the preseason and early goings of the year.

St. Louis lost both times to the Seahawks last year. Seattle scored a pair of second-half rushing touchdowns in a 24-7 win over the Rams at the Dome last November. Last December, Marshawn Lynch ran wild on the Rams as Seattle won 30-13.

It's time for a little redemption, time for Cortland Finnegan to welcome another rookie quarterback to the NFL.
