As RGIII goes, so goes the fortunes of the Rams future

RGIII complaining, the Redskins traded away their first round draft picks for 2012, 2013 and 2014 to our Rams for a chance to get RGIII in this years draft, the Rams doing their part in ensuring that the Redskins losses mount and other topics off the top of my head.

Their was a post on Yahoo earlier this week where RGIII thought the Rams played dirty and brought up the "B word". Many people jumped to conclusions and thought he was calling the Rams a bunch of "bitches". Actually he was talking about the possibility that the Rams might be running Bounty Ball in St. Louis. I mean it only makes sense because Jeff Fisher is always known for having a very physical team and he used to have Greg Williams as his DC in Tennessee. He brought in Williams this season before he found out about Bounty Gate but Greg Williams' son Blake Williams is on our defensive staff. Soooo......ya never know. I will say, I like the new physical Rams and hope that we can start building an intimidation factor.

But back to RGIII, he cried like a baby about the hits he was taking and I commented on the story along with a lot of other football fans who feel that RGIII maybe just isn"t ready for prime time. the following is my comments to the Yahoo post word for word:

"Don't forget RGIII, their is a defensive tackle named Kendric Gholston on your current roster who played "wishbone pull" on Steven Jacksons leg a couple of seasons ago that put out SJ39 for that season and ruined our hopes. Now you lost Orakpo AND Carriker for the season. Karma is a beeyotch. Don't complain about the hard hits. The Rams own your first round draft picks for the next two years because the Redskins traded with us to get you. The harder we make it for you to win, the higher are draft picks are gonna be. So toughen up!"

During week one the Redskins defeated the Saints in somewhat of an upset and RGIII was rookie of the week. I immediately began to worry because I felt the Redskins were going to be legit and our first pick we were gonna get next year from them was going to be late in the first round. Well, we took care of business and brought them back to earth and on top of that, they lost two key players from their front four which was one of the strongest points of their team. Brian Orakpo and Adam Carriker are done for the season. It will be easier for other teams to key their blocking on Ryan Kerrigan and negate his pass rushing skills.

Coming into this week the Redskins have other injuries they need to worry about. Cornerback Josh Wilson suffered a concussion and he is iffy for this weekends game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Safety Brandon Merriweather and WR Pierre Garcon are dealing with knee and foot injuries respectively. With a slowed down pass rush and a thinned out secondary, it sets up well for Andy Dalton to have another game like last week where he threw for over 310 yards with 3 touchdowns. A.J. Green just might have a field day.

The rest of their schedule doesn't look so promising with home games against the Falcons, Vikings, Panthers, Eagles, Cowboys, Giants and Ravens. Then they have road games at Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, Philadelphia and the New York Giants. The only winnable games might be the Vikings, Browns and maybe the Panthers. Teams that usually end with 4 winds are picking 5th-7th in the draft. So it's definetely within our own interests that the Redskins start some losing streaks.
