Hello TST!! I'm back with another edition of the weekly mailbag. Week 2 is in the books and it was a very interesting week. Lots of upsets and lots of turrible, godawful, lulz, mindblowing why are you even a ref refereeing went on. I'm taking Seattle at home a vast majority of the time (there's something weird about playing there as the road team). Both Brandon Weeden and Ryan Tannehill showed some improvement after their rough debuts last week. Cam Newton is a boss. The only good games over the weekend were the Ravens vs Eagles and Bucs vs Giants. The Ravens-Eagles was an old school, I'm going to kick your [bleep] in, playoff style game. Although the Broncos made it very interesting last night, there was no doubt that the Falcons would win. The referees in that game was beyond awful. Roger Goodell and the ref union needs to sit down in a room somewhere remote like a Pacific island and locked in until they reach a deal. It looks like this will be a Tuesday feature (ideal because it gets the MNF game in and my philosophy is to wait a day to settle down and really break things down.) As always, you can contact me via these mediums:

My thoughts on the Rams game after the jump. Jump!!!Offense - Sam Bradford and the OL showed marked improvement over last week. Danny Amendola was the star on Sunday and also a PPR machine. He did have a fumble though. We also witnessed a stupid decision from Fisher as well. The decision to bench Steven Jackson after the penalty and calling it a groin strain showed that Fisher is still an angry vindictive little twit who can't handle the simplest of player frustration. This behavior almost cost him the game hadn't Daryl Richardson stepped up to handle the load of playing Fisherball. Isiah Pead who? Pead has disappeared from the face of the earth it seems.
Defense - Well, they did just enough to squeak out the win. There were numerous times RG3 was blatantly hit late and the defense got away with it due to the abject failure of the referees to step in. If not for Josh Morgan's stupidity that cost the Skins the game, it might have been a Rams loss. Keep in mind that Pierre Garcon was out for this game as well. RG3 has been a beast so far.
Overall - This game was a typical Fisheresque win, just do barely enough to get the win and hope the other team does something stupid. The Rams played above their heads in this one since the Skins were clearly the better team. Grade: B
