Well, here we are. We're going into week 3 with a 1-1 record, narrowly missing a 2-0 record. Even the most optimistic Rams fan has to be at least slightly surprised.
The key to this success has largely been Sam Bradford. In the first two games under Jeff Fisher, Bradford already has two games with a 100+ passer rating. In 2010 and 2011 combined, Bradford only had three games with a 100+ passer rating. The change has been evident from the start of the season.
Sam looks more comfortable in the pocket, even in the face of pressure. With Wells out I figured our O-line would be decimated by the 'Skins LB corp. When Saffold went down, I figured it could only get worse. When Wayne Hunter is your LT, that's bad; but when you have Wayne Hunter's backup in at LT, you should be very scared.
We ended the game with only 2 sacks allowed.
2.
If we can pull off an upset against the Bears in Chicago, I'm confident we can beat the Seahawks in STL.
If we go into week 5 with a 3-1 record and get Brockers back, we should be able to make quick work of the Cardinals and then the Dolphins in week 6.
That's a 5-1 record going into week 7 against the Packers.
If the season were to play out that way heading into week 7, how would you react? Would we have a shot at the playoffs? The division? More?
