We all know about Fisher's take on drafting OL in the First round. But if our Line dosen't perform up to expectations we're going to be forced too. Regardless if they do well or not we would draft Lineman in this year's draft anyway, but seeing all the Fear comming out about the OL, we're going to be seeing Lineman picked up early.
Ik how alot of you guys want the exciting playmakers that will be in this years draft, and i feel the same way it's hard using a high pick on linemen when you have the Marcus lattimore's, Justin Hunters, and T.J Mcdonalds ! But if the offense's plays are stopped when they start, there won't be much of a point having playmakers will there ? Seeing as Fisher was in the same division as Houston for all those years and he saw how the Texans
ruined David Carr's career by never getting him protection, I would expect him to get some help for Bradford and abandon his philosophy for a year because this is NOT Tennesee. Tennesee always had a pretty solid line, so they always had the luxury to draft OL late and develop them. In our situation with this Horrendous line, we need help NOW. So this year's draft i'm thinking that we need to draft a OT & OG or OT & C High within the first 3 rounds.
There's a couple of options we can go, i've been doing a ton of research on prospects and have a big board of players that include: T.J Mcdonald, D.J Fluker, Khaled Holmes, and a few others. If we don't trade down we can snag T.J Mcdonalds with our first 1st rounder, and D.J Fluker with our other, and draft the TOP C in this years class, Khaled Holmes (USC) in the 2nd round, Or we can trade down one of our first round picks and Still get T.J Mcdonald in the first, and get Jonathon Cooper OG (North Carolina), Oday Aboushi OT (Virginia), and WR Da'Rick Rogers/ Montee Ball/ Ray Ghram/ Sean Porter/ Any other OLB all in the 2nd . That's assuming if washington has a top ten pick ! We could trade back into the First Round , than trade back again into the Second Round.I'm thinking trading back into the Second round seems like the best option, there is a SHIT TON of talent in this years draft, so your 2nd round picks will be basically like getting first round picks, that's all assuming who comes out and who stays, but still this is just spectulation, we could very well still force ourselves to have to get Justin Hunter if the WR's dont do well, it all depends on how the season goes. One thing i know for sure though is we need to select a Safety out of this years draft it is LOADED. Here is my ranking of this year's safetys from watching ALOT of film 1. T.J Mcdonald, 2. Tony Jefferson 3. Eric Reid 4. Kenny vacarro 5. the Georgia safety cant spell his name 6. Ray ray armstrong. long read i know lol. but give me feed back, it took awhile to write this haha
