Cuts are coming fast and furious around the NFL, with more than 700 players getting the boot on Friday. The St. Louis Rams continue to make cuts, but they will also be keeping a close eye on the players being cut elsewhere around the league. So which names so far could make the most sense for the Rams?

Joselio Hanson, CB - St. Louis is pretty deep at corner with young guys, but if they wanted a veteran hand, Hanson could be a great pickup. He's a natural slot guy, which gives them some flexibility with Cortland Finnegan who often slides inside on nickel packages.

Deion Branch, WR - At 33, Branch doesn't have much left to give a team other than experience.

Marvin McNutt, WR - This was a surprise cut. The Iowa product has the makeup to be a solid possession receiver, but has questions about his speed and explosiveness.

Chauncey Davis, DE - He had a nice preseason for the Bears, and could give the Rams some experienced depth on the line.

Evan Moore, TE - Nothing Cleveland does should surprise you, and they lost a talented pass catcher in Moore. This is one that the Rams should seriously take a look at to bolster their tight ends behind Lance Kendricks. Would be an upgrade over Michael Hoomanawanui.

David Sims, S - Word is the Browns want to sneak him onto the practice squad, but he might not make it after a strong preseason. He picked off two passes, one for a touchdown, working as the Browns' third safety.
