There should be no surprise that after a poor performance by the Rams on Saturday against the Cowboys that Rams Nation is jumping ship, but it still makes me laugh to see all of the lemmings over react so greatly to a pre-season game.
What happened to all of the Super Bowl chants and predictions after the KC game?
Fisher has been saying it since before the first game against the Colts, they are keeping things vanilla and simple through the pre-season and not worrying about score or outcome. He is only interested in evaluating individual talent and fundamentals.Did the offensive line struggle? Yes, but the O-line has been patch work since OTAs and until the starting 5 is determined and working together calm down.
Did the secondary struggle? Yes, but do you think that during the regular season that the corners are going to be playing 10 yards off the ball and then bailing out another 10 to allow all of those intermediate completions. And everyone here and especially Fisher knows that Craig Dahl is completely inept when it comes to pass coverage so don't expect him to even make this roster.
Bottom line, put the nooses away until we get a chance to see the final roster and starters preform with a full game plan during the regular season. Everyone just needs to have some patients and a little faith that Fisher knows what he is doing.
