3 match-ups that are really grabbing my attention!

And all three match-ups are in the first 5 weeks of the season! Watching the St. Louis Rams play is usually exciting, but the excitement is not just about wins and loses, even though they matter alot. As mentioned above, my three match-ups are with the Lions in week 1, the Bears in week 3, and the first game against the Cardinals in week 5.

The Lions game should be a fairly high scoring game, and i fully expect both offenses to score in the 20's and 30's in points. Whether it is Bradford or Staford who gets more touchdown's isn't what I will be giving most of my attention. My biggest excitement in this game will be Calvin "Megatron" Johnson vs. Cortland Finnagen. Finnagen has a nack for getting under a receivers skin, and mostly because of his "in your face" style of play. He has experience against big, tall, strong pass catching receivers named Johnson. In all honesty, I would be fairly happy if the same kind of event happens from that game in this one.

The bears defense is still very fierce, and with Lovie Smith in control, there is no wonder why. This is gunna be a kind of game were one mistake is gunna be enough to lose, and I expect Finnegan and Jenkins to take away Jay Cutler's favorite target, whoever it may be at that point. Expect a high interception rate from this game, although i expect a low amount of sacks. My Favorite match-up for the game? Brandon Marshal and Devon Hester vs. Finnegan and Jenkins.

Now as much as people are downplaying the Cardinals, I think this is not gunna be an easy game. Patrick Peterson is still wearing red and white, and their defense is no push-over. I'm not mentioning Larry Fitz because he isn't not going to be the biggest factor in this first match-up of NFC West rivals. It's really gunna be up to Michael Floyd if they are successful on offense. Yes their offensive line is horrible, but my favorite match-up here is really going to be Langford and Brockers vs. the interior offensive line. Please note that I'm making the assumption that Skelton will be the starter, barring injuries.

Think my insight is well? Do you have better match-ups for these/any other games? Please criticize me in the boxes provided below.
