Rams have signed DE Vernon Gholston to a contract. Gholston was the 6th pick of the 2008 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. Spent last preseason with Chicago.
In perhaps a related note, DE Eugene Sims did not practice today. Coach Fisher said Sims was in training room with undisclosed injury. holston takes roster spot vacated by CB Josh Gordy, who was traded to Indianapolis for a draft pick.... Waste of a roster spot
