The St. Louis Rams had a great first quarter of play. So great, in fact, it will leave people with all those lingering questions about preseason football and all that. Ignore the pangs of conscience. Enjoy it. The Rams executed well, and that makes the score board a bonus. If the Rams execute well all season, they will score points.
We'll have a complete recap after the game, so stay tuned. In the meantime, how about some GIFs? I know you kids like the GIFs and we've got a couple to share with you tonight.
Danny Amendola's touchdown catch was a thing of beauty. No Rams receiver has made catches like this since, well, since you know. He even gets the flag, but doesn't need to take it. Amendola in this form, better than even 2010, the Rams offense will be better. It also sets him up for a big free agent pay day in 2013.
So awesome.
Here's the HIllis touchdown. Can't really fault the Rams too much. The Chiefs laid some nice blocks.
